The total project cost is estimated at 80 thousand. euro. The cost of equipping a single transport unit ranges from 200 to 400 Euros. Operating costs will range from 20 to 40 euros per month.
At the same transport Wi-Fi- network is considered not only as a means to provide access to the global network, but also as a basis for optimization of public transport and traffic surveillance system.
Meanwhile, in the Estonian capital based wireless UMTS-EDGE/GPRS and Wi-Fi will be provided with commuter trains.
